All the wizard's pages and components should be [[WP:SEMI|semi-protected]]. [[Enter your new article name here]], the default name in the creation box at Ready to Edit, is fully protected, and has an edit notice [[Template:Editnotices/Page/Enter your new article name here]] telling people very loudly to use the back button. Since only users with permission to edit fully protected pages see that editnotice, a hack to [[MediaWiki:Titleprotected]] detects [[Enter your new article name here]] and transcludes the editnotice. In addition, [[Wikipedia:Article wizard/Wizard-New edit instructions]] avoids displaying edit instructions on the page [[Enter your new article name here]].
