June 13 of 2019, Howell confirmed them to be in a relationship but did not emphasize on being boyfriends, friends with benefits, or husbands. He goes on to say he would like to keep is private life private as so does Phil. For years the two have been rumored to be romantically involved and rumors were shown to indeed to be true.

With the Dan and Phil show as a concept coming to an end shortly, I propose that a new article should be made for this [http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2014/r1-youth-presenters new show] with the different vloggers on. It will probably be ending up as something completely different to the Request Show which Dan and Phil is based on, and will definitely have a different name.
