Having a look at the edits that the temp-acc made, it looks like they made those significant changes in a good-faith attempt to address the "written like an essay" maintenance banner that sat at the top of the article for 8 years. Although, it does appear that it was re-written with the help of an LLM like ChatGPT. I've dropped a general 'welcome' template message on the temp-acc's talk page.
