As a therian myself this article is more related to lycanthropy which i won't be getting into detail about it but anyway being a therian is different for everyone so some therians are physical meanwhile others are spiritual and others are mental  so being a therian isn't a religion or being a furry we are different and that's ok because we don't cause harm to others and we are everywhere if you look! :The original definition for the term "therianthropy" is about shapeshifting/lycanthropy, not the modern definition.
