== 09:53, 19 March 2026 review of submission by Jakob Øverland == Hi, I’m new to Wikipedia and was wondering why my draft was rejected, and what changes are needed to make it suitable for publication. Thank you for your help. Jakob Øverland (talk) 09:53, 19 March 2026 (UTC) :Hello, @Jakob Øverland. :A Wikipedia article should be a neutral summary of what the majority of people who are wholly unconnected with the subject have independently chosen to publish about the subject in reliable publications, (see Golden rule) and not much else. What you know (or anybody else knows) about the subject is not relevant except where it can be verified from a reliable published source. :Your draft does not resemble that description in any way. :My earnest advice to new editors is to not even think about trying to create an article until you have spent several weeks - at least - learning about how Wikipedia works by making improvements to existing articles. Once you have understood core policies such as verifiability, neutral point of view, reliable, independent sources, and notability, and experienced how we handle disagreements with other editors (the Bold, Revert, Discuss cycle), then you might be ready to read your first article carefully, and try creating a draft. If you don't follow this advice but try to create an article without this preparation, you are likely to have a frustrating and disappointing experience with Wikipedia.
