:To add to what others have said: every different-language Wikipedia is a separate project, with its own policies and procedures. Many of them have less strict requirements for [[WP:REF|sources]] than English Wikipedia. 
:This means that ''translating'' an article from another Wikipedia into English is usually a waste of time, unless you verify ''first'' that the original article has adequate sources, most of which meet the requirements of being independent, reliable, secondary, and having significant coverage of the subject: see [[WP:42]].
