his book Flesh has America being like ancient greece.  the city-states battle through a rougher futuristic version of baseball.  the teams are not just named after animals for fun... the team's "mascot" is likely the primary provider of furs and skins for the team and its fans to wear and eat.  the bucks, bulls, and beavers fight it out in a semi-equal battlefield likely not too different from a ball park. It just seems like a bunch of amateur leagues are playing by vintage rules; these leagues don't meet GNG so I don't see how this style of play is notable. At least [[Rounders]] is a defined game -- Vintage is just playing regular baseball with time frozen, which is best covered in the [[Origins of baseball]] article. This section may best be moved to [[Women in baseball]].  I do not believe anything should be merged into this article as proposed. I would like to add more information after it says "Chicago Cubs owner Philip K. Wrigley led the formation of the All-American Girls Professional League to help keep the game in the public eye."<ref>{{cite web |url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baseball |website=wikipedia.org}}</ref> I want to add information about one player that stands out (who was played in the movie A League of Their Own (1992)) Doris "Dodie" Barr. She spent 8 years in the AAGPBL and played for 6 different teams. <ref>{{cite web |url=https://www.aagpbl.org/profiles/doris-barr-dodie/259 |website=aagpbl.org}}</ref>I would also like to add information about the Rockford Peaches, who had the most championship wins (4) out of the entire AAGPBL. I want to add this information because I believe it's important baseball knowledge and gives more detail into the AAGPBL, which will intrigue readers because a lot of readers may not know about the AAGPBL.
