== Merge with Acrux ==

::I'm happy to follow the consensus.  There is certainly an element of confusion with the current situation, but a single larger article needs to be very clear about the nomenclature.  I think maybe I've added most of the necessary explanation at [[Acrux]], so might be a fairly easy merge.  Note that not all "gravitationally bound" star systems are described in single articles, most notably perhaps [[Mizar]] and [[Alcor (star)]], plus [[Mizar and Alcor]] for good measure.  Should I add [[Sirius B]] that just got de-merged after being previously merged, and [[Proxima Centauri]]?  [[User:Lithopsian|Lithopsian]] ([[User talk:Lithopsian|talk]]) 14:37, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
:::I think yeah Mizar and Alcor type works can be done but it will better for HR 4729 to be with Acrux rather than a separate article. For Sirius B it is similar to [[Mira B]] and Mira system type article rather than Acrux. Proxima Centauri is good of it's own there is not needed to merge it but yeah, the infobox can be updated to add it based on data.
