{{WikiProject banner shell|class=Start| {{WikiProject Chemistry|importance=low}} }} ==Move proposal== We normally do not consult on moving article titles, but this one is a little different because it entails a merger as well. 1) Heterogeneous gold catalysis remains a quietly active area with few or no applications. One hint that there might be a slump is the long theory section vs a lively app section mentioning scale of operations and new technologies. The topic is ranked "low importance". 2) Homogeneous gold catalysis remains a mildly active area with few or no applications. The topic is sort of an appendage to [[Organogold chemistry]]. The long homogeneous section crowds out or ignores more basic info on organogold chem to some small extent. So in my view, we have two slightly sputtering areas. My solution is to move the homogeneous catalysis section from [[Organogold chemistry]] into a newly renamed article on gold catalysis. The downside of my proposal is that the heterogeneous and homogeneous topics have little overlaps aside from using carbon-based substrates and using Au as the catalyst.
