This template is used to tag pages for speedy deletion under the [[Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion|speedy deletion criteria]], specifically [[Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#G12|CSD G12]].  There is a separate template for each criterion &ndash; see the table to the right.

This template places the page into the categories [[:Category:Candidates for speedy deletion|Candidates for speedy deletion]] and [[:Category:Candidates for speedy deletion as copyright violations|Candidates for speedy deletion as copyright violations]].

== Usage ==
The template should be placed at the top of the page to be deleted.

:Where ''sourceurl'' is the full URL of the page, or a description of the source, from which the content was taken.
