One is actually already cited on [[Sigemund the Wælsing]] - "The Saga of the Volsungs" by Jackson Crawford, which states "Much earlier, the Old English poem Beowulf... mentions two Volsung heroes by name ''Sigemund Wælsing'' (= Old Norse ''Sigmund'', the Volsung)".<br />
