A "source", also called a "reference", should generally be "cited" using [[WP:footnotes|footnotes]]. Wikipedia uses a special feature to automatically generate footnotes with the help of two "tags", <code><nowiki><ref></nowiki></code> and <code><nowiki></ref></nowiki></code>.
