- Hi there, I would like to renew my New Page Reviewer Rights which I was granted on 20th November 2025 that expired on 31st Jan 2026. I was invited to participate in the January–February 2026 NPP drive - [Phase 1 & 2] but partly participated in Phase 1 and I would like to participate in Phase 2 for the remaining days and continue after so I kindly request for renewal. MichealKal (talk) 05:59, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
- @MichealKal This is specifically AFC though, not NPP, NPP is WP:PERM/NPP Sohom (talk) 14:38, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

- @SaTnamZIN You have the NPP right, this is specifically for AFC, which is bundled with NPP. Sohom (talk) 16:19, 14 February 2026 (UTC)

- I believe I meet the prerequisites for AfC reviewer permissions. I’ve enjoyed learning from my Wiki mentors and contributing to sailing-related articles, and I’m slowly starting to branch out into other topics. I have a decent understanding of Wikipedia’s notability criteria and article assessment scale, and I’d be happy to help review new page submissions if there’s a need. Not done for now, can you please get some experience at WP:AFD and reapply? Thanks. -- asilvering (talk) 20:19, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for the guidance. Yes, I will follow your advice and reapply after gaining some AFD experience =)

I participated in the December backlog drive and felt that I could continue to make contributions to AfC even during periods with lower wikimotivation/availability, so I am requesting AfC rights. - I meet the 90-day and 500+ mainspace edit criteria (currently at 502 mainspace edits). I have been active in WikiProject Morocco and have experience manually moving and standardizing drafts, such as Battle of Tan-Tan. Not done. I am concerned about the number of copyright-related notices an warnings on your talk page. That combined with a lack of any AFD experience means a failure to meet the requirement to demonstrate knowledge of our policies and guidelines. Primefac (talk) 19:21, 22 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks @Primefac. Will try working with AFD more.
- Regarding the copy- right related notices, I am a bit confused. There is one conversation I can see where someone had objected to a legitimate use of material; I have clarified the matter there. You mean there is indeed a copyright violation involved? Postbox 2 (talk) 10:31, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
- There are two conversations which resulted in redactions in both related articles. Your article creation is otherwise acceptable, I just generally like to see experience in both sides of the coin (creation and deletion) for folk who are looking to essentially make that determination for drafts. - Hello! I would like to review AfC articles, as to help reduce the Afc log and contribute more. I have almost 3,500 mainspace edits and made many articles, some of which were drafts. Just recently I worked with an editor on a draft which got accepted today. I started editing back in May 2025, without knowing much about Wikipedia and my drafts were being rejected, but over the past months I've gotten them through and now understand all of the core content policies and read through the criteria. I will help on drafts and provide feedback. If needed, I'll respond to anything quickly as well. HazelAlbertSheriff (talk) 13:15, 17 February 2026 (UTC)

- Hello,
I am requesting the Articles for Creation reviewer permission. My account is 7 months old with over 800 edits, primarily focused on sports-related articles, especially sports in Bihar and sportspeople from Bihar. I am familiar with notability standards, including Wikipedia:Notability (sports) and Wikipedia:Notability, as well as sourcing and neutrality requirements. I would like to assist with reviewing drafts at Wikipedia:Articles for creation. Thank you. Yogiin (talk) 03:34, 24 February 2026 (UTC)

- Hi, a couple of months back my rights were taken, and I was told to reapply after at least three months. During this time, I noticed many LLM-generated drafts in the AfC queue and worked on improving my skills by reviewing the relevant guidelines before declining drafts. When I am unsure about a topic and cannot make a well-supported judgment, I avoid reviewing it. I am hoping to resume reviewing drafts and to do my best in the role. Thank you. Probation, which I want evaluated at the end of a month of reviewing. This is mandatory - please make a post when the time comes inviting reviews and commentary on your progress. If successful the usual probationary checks will then take place after the usual 3-6 month period. Primefac (talk) 16:43, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

Looking to dip my toe into article reviewing to get more experience in different areas of wiki. Road to New Pages Patrol! :) I have plenty of experience creating articles and editing articles, and often a watcher/participator in AfDs, so trying to continue to learn more and gain new experience to continue to bolster my understanding of WP and the nuances of article reviewing. Given my experience writing articles and my own experience going through AfDs as a new Wikipedian, I think I am sufficiently familiar with WP:GNG, WP:RS, WP:INDY, etc. And always keen to learn more. - Your contested deletion is frankly nonsensical. It is extremely troubling that you are justifying AI usage with
nothing was mentioned on the llm guidelines that generating sources is not allowed
. And it isn't just the sources that are AI-generated, but also much or all of the content. If you got all your information from a single book, why are you citing other sources that you apparently didn't even look at? Helpful Raccoon (talk) 08:00, 7 March 2026 (UTC)- Because I knew very well that a single book which described Archaeognatha properly (but as Thysanura) will not suffice. To justify the notability of the article, more sources were certainly needed so I told a LLM to generated some (which is not illegal, or at least not directly stated that it is). As for generating the content, please point out which definite part you feel to be generated and which you feel to be AI hallucination. Moreover, please read the full article, and you will certainly notice that not all sources are generated and those which are generated only few of these are probably false. And I also suggest you to take this matter to the article's talk page, and not discuss it here. And by the way, Your contested deletion is frankly nonsensical does not reflect good faith.
- TrueMoriarty Talk | Contribs 08:13, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
- I specified some hallucinated sources in the deletion template, but it doesn't matter if you remove them because the article would still need to be deleted. Citing sources without reading them is completely unacceptable even if the sources are real, as is asking an AI to write any part of the article for you without carefully reviewing it. It destroys the integrity of Wikipedia to include potentially false information. Do not do that ever again. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 08:42, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Helpful Raccoon Just to clarify, I asked you to point out hallucinated content. As I see that you evaded this question two times in a row, I take it that you are unable to find such content (which is to say there are no hallucinated prose. And don't take this as a personal attack 👍). And as for the sources, of the twenty-one citations, you have only pointed out two as hallucinations, which if you suggest, I will delete. But please clarify, what you mean by
but it doesn't matter if you remove them because the article would still need to be deleted

- I have been a rollbacker for quite a while now, with a majority of my edits being from my Rollbacks on articles and warns on user accounts. I applied for AfC at one point, being put on Probation, but eventually asked for my access to be removed as I was going on quite a long hiatus. During that hiatus, I had done brief editing and had looked at page creation guidelines in closer detail. Now that the cause of my hiatus is now gone, and I have begun to resume my work on Wikipedia, I would like to apply for AfC yet again. Not only do I meet edit and account age requirement, I know CSD, AfD and page creation guidelines. My main goal is to reduce the backlog of articles in AfC and grow the encyclopedia.

- I often find myself looking at new drafts and vetting the sources used (sometimes more thoroughly than other times). Usually I'll be doing this as a source integrity check when I suspect something to be LLM generated (but obviously human-written drafts and articles also need to be properly sourced). Having access to the AfC tools/script would probably be useful to me, both to outright decline drafts as needed and it would also be nice to accept good drafts into mainspace for a change. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 12:21, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

- Requesting AfC reviewer rights. I meet account age and edit count criteria and I'm familiar with notability guidelines and deletion policy. I've read and understand reviewing instructions and want to help reduce the backlog. Petermgrund (talk) 17:19, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

I have recently become a new page patroller, and also would like the ability to review drafts. I am most active in Minnesotan History, A topic that currently has a backlog I would like to help get through. I am experienced and capable of doing this job.

- I am an Extended Confirmed editor. My goal is to become a useful Wikipedian and help the community as much as I can by reducing the AfC backlog. I have a strong interest in the music niches and have a good understanding of WP:MUSICIAN and general notability guidelines. I have read the reviewing instructions and am committed to providing helpful, clear feedback to new editors. Cmajorftw 13:00, 19 March 2026 (UTC)

- I want to gain more experience in the process of article creation. I have some experience with WP:AfD and I also eventually want to help with WP:New pages patrol. I am generally familiar with notability and will always check the necessary guidelines before approving or rejecting an article based on that. Awesomecat (✉ / ✎) 00:45, 20 March 2026 (UTC)

- I want to contribute to AFC by clearing it's backlog. I want to clarify that first my draft was rejected because of lack of knowledge of relevant policies, I was very new at wikipedia at that time. VortexPhantom🔥 (talk) 09:22, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- If anything makes you hesitate to give me this right, kindly let me know. I will definitely work on it. VortexPhantom🔥 (talk) 09:25, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
