Nordic model → nordic socialism – better title in Google and per sources. Instituto miss brasil (talk) 16:22, 7 February 2026 (UTC)

- I have never heard it called that. A lot of Nordic politicians and economists would disagree on that characterization of their mixed economies. Socialists also don't agree on whether these economies are "socialist enough" to be called socialist countries (social democracy vs socialism). Additionally, the term "Nordic model" is used commonly in housing discourse, not "Nordic socialism." There are other fields as well, such as prostitution legislation, where the Nordic model's approach is not really socialist or even entirely economic in nature. - Not seeing a strong argument for it so far, this is an established term. TylerBurden (talk) 18:22, 7 February 2026 (UTC)

- Oppose - the term Nordic model is much more used compared to Nordic socialism. PJ Geest (talk) 10:05, 8 February 2026 (UTC)

Proposed merge of The Swedish model into Nordic model
[edit source]The contents of this page are redundant, not unique to Sweden, and are already covered on the Nordic model page. Redvelvetvanilaaaaaaaaa (talk) 15:12, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
