Proposed merge of Weddings in Myanmar with Marriage in Myanmar

Both are the same article, but I believe there should be a discussion about which title should be used. Also, relevant information from both articles should be combined together into the main merged article. WinKyaw (talk) 16:29, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

Merge - effectively the same article, agreed. Most of the non-wedding related parts in this article are unsourced. I think the main article should be Marriage in Myanmar but the text should use Weddings in Myanmar as a base for the actual content. Particularly, I think the sections "Selecting a partner" and "The Married State" are both meaningless and should be removed unless someone can rewrite with sources. If there is more content about marriages and demographics that someone wants to we can split the article in the future. EmeraldRange (talk/contribs) 17:34, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
