Splitting

this page is too long and really needs splitting into a few sections i have already made a page pandoran biosphere. I do believe that this page needs splitting, because as it mentions in Article size under readability issues and technical issues.Here it explains that large articles such as the original one are bad for poor or slow connections. secondly to read the full article which is too long at just over 6,000 words. this is a logical split as it is a subject that adds to the encyclopedia by itself. Limited Eywa Information

Hi All, I was reading the Avatar (2009 film) page and realized that there was very limited information on Eywa. I looked through the archive and did not find much talk about adding more Eywa info, and searched the Themes in Avatar page also to not find much information about Eywa.

Does anyone else feel that having information about Eywa (as central to the plot) is important to this page, at least as a subsection? Or would this question be more suited for the Themes Talk page? I also saw that searching Eywa redirects to this page—would creating an Eywa page be appropriate? Or would adding Eywa information to Fictional universe of Avatar be better?

I can understand if people feel that too much information on Eywa makes (the) articles read more 'fan' oriented rather than encyclopedic, but I feel that Wikipedia would benefit from expanding on such a core part of the film.

Merge proposal

I recently moved Pandora (Avatar) to mainspace, and believe that article serves as a better location for the contents of this article, as the primary and really only location within Avatar. This article is significantly lacking in sources and has MOS:IN-U issues. Whilst I did create the Pandora article, if Wikipedia consensus means an edit history merge is necessary, then I am okay with that as well.

I support merging (or just redirecting) Fictional universe of Avatar, which I agree has too much in-universe content, to Pandora (Avatar), which is more appropriately fleshed out per WP:WAF. This article can be linked to on Pandora's talk page, if anything needs revisiting. The Pandora article looks good, and I look forward to seeing more details added. Having written up RDA (Avatar), I find it very likely that these books have other chapters more focused on Pandora. I recommend using WP:LIBRARY if you haven't already to try to get articles (or even book chapters) that way. Erik (talk | contrib) 16:03, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

No, I don't think it is. While there is some scoe overlap, there is not much content overlap, and what content is here is not worth keeping within the page history of Pandora (Avatar).
